What is this variation?
Is the team name in white or the players name? I have wondered this for a while now. I recently purchased a collection with several 1969's and am not sure what to look for.

Player's name is in white versus yellow.

I have some with
first name white, last name yellow
first name yellow, last name white
first name black, last name white.
Is the variation both names white?

1969 Topps white letter cards are only in the 5th series (426-512). Here's the list of the 23 cards along with the description of the variation. If a card isn't on this list, and the names are in white, then it was intended to be that way and it's not a variation. Each of these cards had a later printing where the name (last for most, first for Padres and Pilots, and both for rookies) was in yellow.
