I picked this up last week. not a perfect cut but it is a 1/1 and the 1977's like a lot of years have issues. i paid $200 for it which i was happy with for getting two first ballot HOFers on the card.
There is the old "what if" question, that what if seaver/ryan actually appeared on the same rookie card what would it be worth. especially if they had been on 1967 high number SP.
My question is this the only mainstream card they appear toghther on by themselves? Obviously they are the mets team card with 35 other people.
While ryan is the 1968 rookie he actually had a cup of coffee in the bigs in 1966. seaver did not pitch in the majors until his rookie card season he went 16-13 for a team that lost 101 games. not too shabby.
More boring trivia: jerry koosman had a very good career winning over 200 games, bill deheny finished 1-10 lifetime.
