Crack BGS and sub to PSA, any recent cross-over experience?

Besides any "trimmed" and "sheet cut" issues, what sort of track record have you guys seen with cracking cards out of BGS cases and sending them in to PSA? Bumps? Drops?
Are the BGS subgrades of any use in determining crossover potential?

Yes The higher the better. Also I look for older BGS slabs where the subs are on the back of the flip. Their standards were higher back then. All of these cards I sent to bgs between a year and a half and two years ago. The Faulk was an ebay purchase

Nice job! You make me want to start buying up old BGS 9 cards and submitting them to PSA. Very nice job!

If you are going to buy bgs for crossover, make sure they are the old flips with the subs on the reverse. BGS standards were so strict in the beginning and as of a few years ago. Now they are terrible. I wouldnt buy any bgs card for crossover with the newer flips.

<< <i>You're recomending against the new flips pretty strongly, but 6 of the 8 cards you show above have the new flip. ??? >>
Actually 7 of the 8 are the newer flips!!! Like I said before these cards were sent in appr 2 years ago when bgs still was gading more strictly then they are now.In the last year bgs has gone down tremendously in grading quality. They were cards from my own collection and I already knew their condition and that they would grade higher in psa. My exact words were

Buy... being the operative word here. Since I already had them in hand I was taking zero risk at buying a new flip.
I dont know about you but all of my graded card purchases come from ebay, where I dont physically hold the card in my hand. Therefore, the point I am trying to convey here is that it would be a risk buying any bgs card in the newer flip. I suppose you could get the bgs number and find out when it was graded but sometimes the number is not visable or listed on the sellers auctions.
