An upgrade for the Canadian 50c set.

I won this 1904 50c last night on eBay. I have a 1904 which I bought from the Dead King years ago, but I wanted one that had a more defined date. I looked for one at the TOREX show but couldn't find a decent coin for a decent price. Even the ICCS slabbed '04s had very weak dates.

Nice coin. The 1904 and 1905 are not easy to find in better grades.

My 1905 is OK. The only coin I need to upgrade now is the 1871-H.

    Congrats.

When I see how relatively cheap the Canadian and Newfie 50 cent pieces are from the teens through 30's in well circulated condition, I wonder how many are left. Scarce dates aside, are they really that plentiful?
