It Arrived ! New Purchase 71 CC Seated Dollar

Just arrived and I'm thrilled! I'm going to send it in for TrueView images (its in a PCGS slab). The question is whether to send it in for images only or regrade and images?? So guess the grade. No cheating or peeking at auction results, I want everyones best guess from the images. If the majority hit it dead on, then no regrade. If the majority think its undergraded, then regrade. These images came from the seller, an auction house. Thanks, CCG

I will have to say VG-8 as well. Nice coin. I like it.

I agree with solid vg8. But, I think it has claims to vg10, depending on how technical you want to get with the standards. It has very solid rims, and the design is bold. The wear is pretty even and the coin has a decent overall look. There is a little problem on the upper reverse, and "Liberty" is certainly less than readable, but I would definitely pay a premium on the vg8 price.

Not Good-6, either VG-8 or perhaps VG-10 due to excellant eye-appeal, even wear, color, etc. But the $ market should see it a notch better than VG!! Nice coin.

Edited--On a strictly technical basis, I think PCGS would call it a Good-6, but the problem is that it's really close to VG-8 and all the positive attributes it has (rims nice etc)--so they really have to almost REVERSE net grade it IMHO-

Likely graded a 6 but I would probably say it pushes at a vg10
