    Hey! I like that green tone- that's how they look when they come outta the ground! Many a detector outing of mine has been enhanced by digging a deep cent and seeing that nice green patina! image

    (Seriously- I do like it, on dug coins, if there isn't too much corrosion with it. Of course it ain't exactly a premium color for those who collect non-dug pieces...)

    As a matter of fact, I have dug an 1871. Looked kinda like that, too. But it had a small hole at the top.
