I picked up this one last night. Not cheap, but a nice clean example of a very low mintage coin (46,000 pieces).

Only world coin I've picked up off Ebay lately was a lot of Austrian coins, including a 1965 1 Schilling proof (mintage 27,900), total for 6 coins and shipping was less than the Krause on that one coin. Colorful toning too.

Proofs are a bit of a different animal (in my opinion). Proofs tend to be saved/preserved much moreso than business strikes, so the survival rate tends to be higher than pristine business strike examples. In many cases PF65s are much more common and less expensive then MS65s (U.S. Indian Head Cents are a perfect example).

In fact last night I passed on two very nice looking Dominican Republic proofs (65 and 67) both of which had mintages of 500 or less, and opted for this piece instead.
