Hand cut Early 1900's ???

I bought these several weeks ago, because I never saw them before and they were not very expensive. I have no idea of their history, if the are vintage or reprints, etc. Anyone know? I was thinking about sending them in on the PSA pre 1953 special running now. Will PSA holder these? HELP !!!!!image

They remind me of 1915 W515 set, an old strip card set. I could be wrong, as I believe there are other strip card sets from around that time. I am not sure if PSA will grade them or not, thats a question for another boardie.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for them?
    Looking for Carl Willey items.

The earliest these cards could be would be the late twenties. Cobb managed from 1921- 1926. Alexander was not a Cardinal until 1927.

Scott a White Sox for only a short time in 1926

  • PSA will holder strip cards, but yours are cut too short and at best, they'll holder them as Authentic. In order to give them a grade, they'd need the card to meet minimum size requirements (I think).

Your cards look like the W512 set, but I'm not sure. Here's a link to: http://www.oldcardboard.com/w/w512/w512.asp?cardsetID=813

    poppie,

If you want to reduce the size of your images, go back into Photobucket, click on the "Edit" button above the image, then choose whether you want to reduce it by 75, 50 or 25%. I start out with 75%, go back and reload the message and go back and forth until I get the size I want.

lmk if you have any other problems with this stuff!

    hh

p.s. That some fun stuff you're collecting. It's amazing to see how many others here are so on top of that set! I bow down...I'm not worthy!
