People putting proof/mint sets on ebay and being sent a random set and not the one pictured.
I even asked the seller if I was getting the one shown.
*grumble
It's not worth the negative to me I would get for retaliation.

<< <i>Ever notice how many stock photos happen to be a very nice looking set? I'm sure it's just an accident that it happens that way. I know of one seller whose stock 1964 proof set photo just happens to have a nice looking Accented Hair Kennedy in it.

and I bet that dealer is in Ohio!
I understand your point, but there are dealers who deal in lots of proof sets. They sell average proof sets and use average stock photos. It never hurts to send a question to the seller, if they use stock photos just move on.
I wish E-Bay would let you put an exclude seller list in searches!

I sold 40 2004 silver proof sets around this time last year... I went through all of the sets, and other than one having two COAs, they were all practically identical. I stated in the auction the set shown was an example set. I *did* show a wide shot of all 40 sets in a box. I don't have the time and energy to photograph every widget! No one took me up on the ten day return policy.
