Anyone have a 1601-1700 Krause handy?

Is this 1658 Swedish solidus made of billion?

Man, it took me a while to find this one, and I'm not sure I even have the correct coin. Is this a Sedish occupation of Riga? If so, the coin is silver.

Thanks Don (actually I don't know much about it).

  • I looked in a couple of my Swedish books, but they don’t cover the coinage from Poland and Latvia under Swedish occupation.

I think Don is right, but a higher quality image would also be of great help.

    Good Luck,

I like Ikes!! But I especially like Viking Ships, Swedish Plate Money, and all coins Scandinavian.
