Comming out of the tire store this morning I saw this on the ground thought it was a sac. Same on both sides

These come from the 1930's and it has been suggested that they were used as buttons
or as pulls on clothing. Whatever their origin, there are many different and it's difficult
to find two of these exactly alike. I've seen about 150 and have about 100 different.

looks like something from the 1960's, like the Shell President's game (fill up your tank and get a token). [edited to add..], although Clad King's sems to have seen these, so he must be more correct on the time of striking.

Not necessarily. I do usually find them with stuff from the '30's though. Someone here thinks they are '50's.
