Set registry question

I just bought an 1880 cc 8/high 7 pcgs MS64 morgan and tried to enter it into my basic circulation strike registry set, but it said the cert number was invalid for that set. Is the only set I can enter this coin into a variety set since it is labeled as a vareity? If so, I guess that means I'd have to sell this one and get one labeled 1880 cc without a variety to complete the set.
Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

Good luck with this. I will interested in hearing what PCGS tells you. If they allow this, there are many varieties that they would have to allow into the basic set from the variety set.

That is why they set up separate basic and variety sets; you can use the same coins from the basic set to fill the corresponding holes in the "with varieties" set.
<< <i>Numonebuyer, I looked at your registry sets. How did the 1879 cc and the 1893 cc get entered as MS25? >>
I don't have an answer to this question. I went in and looked at the entry and none of my information says MS. It is truely odd.
I can't wait to see what PCGS says about the request.

I have seen similar designation of MS50 and othe MScirc across the street.
Any thoughts? Thanks
