just wondering if anyone knows a good way to restore an old glove

i just started collecting vintage gloves like mantle and berra and koufax . some of them are in really used condition and i was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to restore them. are there any good oils or leather conditioners to use. ive heard wd40 works but i would think the smell of wd40 would linger on the glove. any help would be appreciated.

If you get no opinions here, I would suggest going to the ebay Sports Memorabilia board and ask the question there.

There are a couple guys that do nothing except collect old gloves.

One guy goes by the name of fungo.

A starting point. Spraying is good if fragile. Rubbing is good if no auto. Regards.
