Those are some great looking 79's. A very tough set for centering ! I am trying to put together a raw set that I pulled from vending, I graded most of the stars and they came back 8's I just started putting them in album pages this week. Good luck with the rest of the box Nj. Hope you find that very tough well centered Ozzie.

79's will drive you nuts. I have busted 2 rack boxes this year, and have 2 still to go. I have graded a lot of the cards, and got but a few 10's (all commons), some tough 9's (Rose and Molitor) and an 8 on a Nolan Ryan that could have been a 10 on another day. I have never sent in cards from any other year that have had wildy fluctuating grades like my 79's.

Stargell is a tough 9. I could use one, also. image

  • If any of you '79 busters come up with the following common Angels that would grade PSA 8 or better, I'd be greatly interested in them.

    #212 Carney Lansford
    #313 Dyar Miller
    #530 Frank Tanana
    #638 Al Fitzmorris
Looking for Los Angeles/California/Anaheim Angels in PSA 8 or better

was this recently purchased or did you have it stowed away?

no, it was actually a wedding gift for you and the wiffey, but you took liberties and opened for the both of you?

Keep me in mind if you find any of the following cards in good condition: Rick Monday, Don Money, Jim Palmer, Vida Blue, Richie Zisk, or Larry Bowa. I am collecting the all stars from this set and those are the ones I have left to get. Any help would be great!
