Does "Variety Attribution" (Vams) pretty much kill a guaranteed turnaround time right now?

I guess I missed a couple of older threads but it looked like some people were having 5 day express orders take 3 weeks or more? Any recent turnaround times for Vams? I had a single coin (morgan $) entered in on the 16th for 5 day express....I attributed the coin...just needed PCGS to confirm and slab it. Hope its not going to be too much longer.

Not in my experience. When I sent a dozen PCGS holdered coins in to add the vam, I was able to insert them into my Top 100 Set a couple days after the order was
entered into the system.

The slabbing is apparently where the bottleneck is, took about 3 weeks before I received the shipping notice.

My last two five day express orders took two days. I wish they'd have been late so I could get some freebies.

It DEFINITELY kills any guaranteed turnaround time for Regular, Express, or Walk-thru. As for actual performance, a reg 2 days late last week & 6 days early this week.
