I blew this up to 12x18 and it is awesome. The quality of the film isn't great, so larger than that will start to get sloppy, but it's fantastic at 12x18 and smaller.
No Granny. I actually don't have a single Phillie solo from that team. The team photo came to me by accident through eBay. I was looking for 60's-70's stuff and a collector was selling off his team photos. He only had a handful of slides and the 1950 Phillies had obvious appeal for me. I really don't have any team-oriented shots of the BRM. I would love some. Most of thengood ones have already been sold over over-produced. I do have some individual shots that are pretty cool, however.
Not EXACTLY Big Red Machine, but a cool shot from the 1975 World Series. One of the SI rejects that I purchased from that collection a while back. This looks really cool in 20x20 square format!
...I should mention that this was restored quite a bit to get the original colors back and it was FILTHY. The burgandy jacket on the umpire was violet purple and had tiny green and lt. blue dots all over it. Roses face was the same color as the dust and it took some filtering to bring him out. It was worth it...great shot if you like action. BTW, Rose was OUT on this play. The Sox won the battle...lost the war.
