It does say roll.
"1944 S MERCURY DIME ROLL FRESH WHITE GEM MS 65"

Maybe it could have been positioned as "FROM A FRESH ROLL" a MS65 1944-S Mercury Dime.
Just a thought!

Your auction title is ambiquous. BIN price notwithstanding, it can be easily misread as being an auction for an entire roll. Rather than block somebody with a legitimate issue, I'd suggest to you that for the next round you word your auctions clearer.

Are we still talking about eBay?
Should anyone expect to purchase a roll of Mercury dimes (MS or circulated) for $18.00? No.
Joe.

"1944 S MERCURY DIME, ROLL-FRESH, WHITE GEM MS 65"
I think the second one is what you meant to say. But I also think it's the buyer's responsibility to read the whole description of the auction. The second sentence of your description clearly states it's one coin you're putting up.

Deductive reasoning is irrelevant if someone is a roll buyer, uses the word roll in their search and clicks in to your auction only to be irritated by the fact that you weren't selling a roll.

When you buy rolls, is there only one coin in them?

Joe.
If not, prepare to be negged.

Huh? It most certainly does allow punctuation.
I rather agree with UncleJoe -- including the word "roll" in the title is borderline keyword spamming. Someone who is looking for rolls would be miffed having to filter through your misrepresented auction.

If the eBay title format didn't allow for punctuation, then nobody would be able to put L@@K!!!! in their titles.

I wish there were a way for buyers to "block" sellers so they didn't have to look at any more of their BS listings!
naaaah maybe not.
<< <i>Roll - key word spamming!

Mercury- key word spamming also. Drawing in car buyers.
To the topic. I see no reason to block the person plus I see nothing wrong with the auction title. People just need to read and use common sense.

So he forgot a comma or two. Why roast him when his intent was not to deceive anyone. Geez.....
