Any Michigan collectors going to Gibraltar Taylor this weekend?

With the Sun Times show in Chicago, I expect this show to be very Detroit-centric.

I haven't been there in a while, is it still worth the drive?

I'm going in about half an hour ,and will probably go back on Sun with my two year old son. If you see a big blond haired guy in a hat (about six foot, 225) pushing a stroller around come over and say hi.
  • I am visiting my parents next weekend who live 5 miles from the Mt. Clemens site. It the show worth going to?? I am not into standing in lines for autographs, but I have bought Pucks from them in the past.
My focus, 1970 Topps Baseball Raw and Graded, pre 1989 PSA Hockey and 1933 INDIAN GUM ! Yikes!!

I may be in the minority I find the Gibralter shows boring.I used to go often to both Mt Clemens and Taylor. The quality dealers seemed to be dwindling and more junk is seen. However there still is a handful of real good dealers.I do not go as much as I used to maybe a couple times a year at best.I live 10 minutes from Gibralter North and about an hour from Taylor.

From my experience the Taylor show is much better than Mt. Clemens.

I agree with both you guys in that t+he Taylor show is really the only one worth going to. As you probably know you're not going to sweep through the aisles and score fistfuls of mint 60's commons, but if you look around hard enough you can usually find a few decent values. I picked up a bunch of mint Favre, Ripken and Clemens inserts today for fifty cents each, and similar deals can be found at most of the tables there.
