Decided to get off my Butt and get this coin to PCGS for regrade. Sending it tommorrow USPS Express under 5 day Express Special w/Truview. Care to guess the results. I'll post the results here when received.
Still a PR67 CAM
Phil took an "Awesome" pic! I think a weak reverse kept it out of a DCAM holder.

Who in they're right mind would own 1 o them POS""""S
Are you looking for DCAM? If so, why not try Designation Review instead of Express? It's only $10.

<< <i>PR66 DCAM >>
Greg it's guaranteed not to grade less than the current grade of 67 when sent in as a Regrade. I appreciate your thoughts on the upgrade to DCAM
<< <i>Same Grade >>
Marty I agree. I think the spots on the Reverse limits the grade upgrade but I'm hoping for DCAM?

Russ what's the turnaround time for the Designation review?

They say approximately 10 days. Mine was 21 days, and cameonut just had one that was 15 days.

Don't know which pic is real but judging by the 1st & last it has no shot at DCAM. If the 2nd pic (i.e. top right) is really what it looks like I'd throw the $10 at it.
I think your odds of getting the DCAM are considerably greater on a regrade... you done the right thing..
...and good luck!!

<< <i>and I disagree that Designation Review is a better option. >>
Why?
Russ, NCNE
gotten a FBL on a blue tag Frankie sent for DR. The same blue tags then cracked out and sent for
regrade, got the FBL probably 80% of the time.
This led me to beleive that the graders doing DR don't really give the blues a fair shake. The numbers
are too large for this to be coincidence.

The two that were just upgraded for me were both recently graded blue label. Cameonut also just had success with a recent blue label. I'm just thinking that for $10 instead of $50 it's worth a shot to try it that way first.

Heck, maybe "It's a New Day at PCGS" as well!
I have asked this in another thread, but got zero responses, so I'll query (not that there's anything wrong with that!) again:
Has anyone ever gotten a blue tag non-FBL Franklin to go FBL on a designation review??

Bushmonster - i can get any grade/ any designation i want -on any submission tier :
i just submit it over and over , month after month; year after year -decade after decade..........
sure,,,,,,,,,,,,it might cost thousands - but i end up with the plastic I want !
Still a premium piece for the date, no matter what plastic is protecting it.
