Found a box that I haven't looked through for awhile. This half was in there. The surfaces under the toning appear to be proof-like.

A very toning coin. I do not believe it is a pl. There is no pl coins exist in 1947.

I think he means P-L as an adjective, not a minting process.

Honestly the first Canadian cion i have ever found attractive. The maple leaf just doesn't do it for me.
