Greysiders: Have I ever told you

that I've recently started a basic cent type set? After I got a few lovely red 1939 cents from ajaan, some in CCCS flips, others raw, I decided to add a few more:

An Elizabeth II 1962 ICCS MS65RED

A George V small 1936 Pittman ICCS MS63RED,

I know that Pittman had rolls of these, but this one went quite cheap I guess:Text

A George V large 1920 ICCS MS63RED

I know need an Eddie and a Vicky for a complete basic monarch set in full red so far.A relatively easy and affordable set to complete within a reasonable amount of time.

  • Nice 1936.

A nice red Vicky cent is not easy to find.
  • Is greyside the same as darkside? And who is ICCS?

Greyside is Canadian coins. ICCS is the leading Canadian Third Party Grader.

Wonderful copper there, Syracusian. These are really very nice coins. I also got a nice 39 red from Mr. Ajaan, but so far, have resisted the urge to start a set. image

    Thanks for the nice comments.

I'm not sure if I'll go deep into this, and if these are permanent purchases, what is permanent with me anyway? image but I'll certainly try to complete the set and enjoy it before reselling it and moving on to something else. And I know that red Vickies are expensive, if I had the extra change, I'd gladly get an ICCS 66RED that Mr bosox has for sale,(or is it a Newfy?) , but this set is not that high in my priority list, nor am I after any scarce dates.image
