What Scanner to image coins?

Someone posted awhile ago a picture of a gold piece taken with a scanner. the picture was decent and actually able to show the coin in the slab. Anyone remember what type of scanner was used?

I believe he said that my all in one scanner/printer had CIS? software or something...and that I needed to buy one that had CCD? technology. Well I went shopping and found that the only ones that had that were solely scanners...none of the all-in-ones had it.
He explained that my all-in-1 technology was not able to focus on the card thru the plastic but the other one could. Made a WORLD of difference.
I've yet to try it on a coin but may do so now and see.

Have any pics?

I can agree with you on that one. For coins with no luster they are pretty good. If they are toned, have lots luster, or are slabbed forget about it. Picture will come out distorted and ugly.
