    Actually I am changing my vote to MS67, fields are really clean with a lot of lustre. I think the rim on the reverse would keep it from a 68.

    Gold dings so easily, so Saints with surfaces like that are execeptional. Even 65s frequently are dinged up pretty good.

  • Definitely a clean Double Eagle that merits a high grade...... with a squashed(bunged) 4. image

    Just kidding... I voted that way since I thought you might have a trick up your sleeve. Have you thought about trying to cross it over into one of them PCGS holders?

    Brandon - now we know the "official" grade - but what's up with the flatness in the 4 in the date? I would presume with a high grade, this can't be post mint damage, so what happenned in the strike?
