Need a little help with this one.

I came across this lot of Jake Plummer PSA 10's and BGS 9.5 EX-2000 cards. On the back of the BGS card, it looks like the negative was reversed (Plummer is throwing with his left hand). The problem is, his jersey number isn't reversed. Am I missing something? Did Fleer purposely print the EX cards this way? Any help? image

I believe all EX cards no matter what sport were made this way so that the cutouts would match up on the front and backs of the card, it appear as if he is now throwing with his left hand on the back of the card.
