Bad Ebay Buyer - Add to your blocked list.

stevejenn0217

This loser won a $5 auction and refuses to pay because he got sniped on another auction.

Hello I was bidding on two auctions and someone came in with less than 30sec. so I didn't have time to counter so I really don't want the tiki barber rookie lot either if I can't get the game used with it. I was just buying that lot because it was only $0.25 extra for shipping sorry about that!

Add him to your blocked list if you want to avoid unnecessary headache.

Wow, that is brutal. Until a better system comes along though, sellers will be forced to deal with tools like that.

Wow... At least he was honest I suppose.

Although he does have auctions of his own up...You could give him the old, "Oh I didn't mean to bid" followed up with a "sorry" and see how he likes it.

He should just suck it up and pay the $5 for his mistake, to bad for him if he did not win both auctions.

Are you going to leave negative feedback?
  • ndleondleo Posts: 4,143 ✭✭✭✭✭
He actually bought it from my second ID I'm setting up for modern cards. It only had a 5 feedback. I am tempted to return the favor, but I'm letting it go for a week before I decide what to do.

    EDIT:
I will leave a neg. What is the time limit on feedback? 90 days? Is it to the minute?

It's 90 days, but no, it is not to the minute. Unfortunately (or luckily depending on your position) there is no ability to "snipe" feedback at the last possible second.

BTW - The lot he got sniped on went for $1.82.

I'm always amazed at the stupid things people do on Ebay - both buyers and sellers. I guess it boils down to the fact that some people refuse to acknowledge the existence of other people. The Golden Rule seems too big for their massive egos to get around and grasp.image

If you file a non-paying bidder claim and he doesn't respond, you can leave him a negative and he cannot respond.

Amazing what some folks will do to save themselves $1.82!

Thanks smallstocks. I didn't know that NPB couldn't feedback retaliate.

ndleo, I personally don't think this is worth your trouble. Blacklist the guy as best you can, here on the board is good, then move on.

It's just this jerks in your face attitude that has you pissed off, and a guy like that isn't even worth being mad at, or thinking about.

Careful you don't let this arsehole create $50.00 worth of grief for you, over $5.00 image

I like smallstocks advice, I didn't know about that.

He can still leave you a negative feedback. It will show up under your feedback, it just won't count against your rating.
