Why did David Ganz (write for Numismatic News) use the nom de plume of "Charles Logan" in
Longacre

I just wanted to use the term "nom de plume" in a thread because I don't get to use the word every day. (Actually, this morning I had to confirm with Mrs. Longacre what it meant, who gave me a "everyone knows what that means; I can't believe what an idiot you are" look )
Does anyone know why David Ganz used the pen name of Charles Logan in his writings in the 1990's? I know that he is a rather prominent attorney and he does work for the ANA and several dealers. I also believe that he is a past president of the ANA. Could it be that he was concerned with a potential confict between his writing and his role as attorney or president of the ANA? I was just curious if anyone knew (or if anyone knows him, maybe someone can ask).
