I bought a bulk deal of proof/mint sets and they will be here tonight! 70 pounds worth!!! Here is the short version of what is coming in!!

5 – 1976 Bicentennial silver proof sets
10 – opened 1972 mint sets
3 – sealed mint 5 packs of 1970 mint sets
5 – opened 1970 mint sets
2 – sealed mint 5 packs of 1971 mint sets
4 – opened 1971 mint sets
15 – sealed mint 5 packs of 1969 mint sets
5 – opened 1969 mint sets
10 – opened 1973 proof sets
2 – mint sealed 5 packs 1973 proof sets

It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

    And we wonder where those extra 10-15 pounds ( on our bodies, not coins!) come from every winter??image

    I make a deal with myself - for every morning or afternoon I spend at the table with rolls/sets/etc, I have to spend 30-40 minutes on the treadmill! (I'm still noticing that my pants are a bit tight in the waist....image )

    I hate to rain on your parade, by I seem to recall that people who buy "moderns" (like those just delivered to you) are not likely to be able to liquidate their acquistions in 24 hours since there is no "two way market" for these coins.

    Thus Marty, take heed, and cope as best you can with the fact that you can not cash out in 24 hours. Oh the agnst you must be feeling.

    Actually, I am jealous and wish that I was in your shoes.

    I know what you feel like, but Russ has assured me if I need to liquidate tonight, he would step up and buy the whole lot at 50% back of bid!
