eye appeal percentage of the grade must be all in for this case.

i think i did not allow it to influence me enough. too critical
of the marks.

The only areas with original mint luster evident are very close to the letters, stars, etc.
Typical weak strike on Eagle's neck. Looks lightly cleaned. I'd call if EF-45,
but I wouldn't be surprised if the major grading services give it an AU-50.

My Opinion: Can't see the luster in a good way, when there is luster present AU-55, when not, AU-53. Could also be a weak strike, which would make me a better guess of AU-53.

Hey, I didn't even vote on this one, but if I had I would have called it XF45, lightly cleaned, based on the photos.
It has more marks than I like to see on a coin of that grade.

yes sir, i would have called that xf45 two weeks ago but i have viewed
to many NGC slabs and now i think it is au53.

how embarrassing.
