question about herritage auctions and payment by plastic or paypal

has anyone ever used paypal or a credit card instead of cash? It seems that its all cash unless the seller gives the ok for credit.

Nearly every time I use paypal or credit with Heritage. Never a problem and usually faster shipping.

Paypal on all auction wins, credit card when I buy from their inventory.

You can buy anything from Heritage and pay by credit card. A consignor is NOT penalized if the winning bidder pays by credit card. Heritage eats the CC fee and I spose that is one of the reasons for the 15% juice on the auctions.

I pay for Heritage auction lots on their web site using credit cards. No problem lately.

Heritage accepts up to 10K on CC per auction - the balance by check or other means. I like the frequent flyer miles.

I use paypal so I can pay by american express. If you pay credit card directly they only except Visa/Mastercard.

They accept credit cards from non-dealers up to $10K. Over $10K, my experience is they will accept a credit card for the first $10K and wait for your check on the balance. If you are accumulating frequent flyer miles, it helps as long as you pay the balance off by the due date.

Its been a little while since I won an auction at Heritage, but I usually just call them and CC it, then send the cc bank a check. Seems to be more convienient and expedites the coin.
