pop report errors..

ok, i need to go to bed.. but im starting this thread simply so i can keep track of little mistakes (or just things that annoy me) i find in the population report..

to start off with, 1984 topps baseball shows 3 nolan ryan cards graded as card #14, but card #14 is actually tom brookens..

and they have a pop report for a "1995 Topps Gold" baseball (all #311 Mickey Mantle).. these i believe are actually 1996 Topps Mickey Mickey Mantle 22kt gold cards..

and another thing that annoys me is not having the 1993 finest refractors separate from the regular 1993 finest..

i know it's difficult to keep track of all the new modern issues, but things still annoy me..

they have a pop section for "1995 pinnacle white hot" but then they list most of the "white hot" cards under the "red hot" section..

they have some "1995 pinnacle museum" cards listed under the regular 1995 pinnacle set, and then they have some listed under it's own category..

Check the 1983 Topps baseball pop. report between about #640 and #792. I'm sure that you'll find at least a dozen errors.

there are 2 separate listing in the online SMR for 1960 fleer football.. some of the cards that arent listed in the first one, can be found in the 2nd one..

same thing with 1961 fleer football..

The Pop Reports on the 1988 Baseball Donruss are way off. It shows a total of 392 when in fact their is almost 4000 graded and #34 ROBERTO ALOMAR Has a 452 of just this card graded.

Nolan Ryan is card #14 in the 1984 Topps Cereal issue which may account for that discrepancy, but I see your point. They should still be separated.

Speaking of errors, just check the fact that half of the STEEL variations are labeled and reported as STEELE and vice versa on the '84 Donruss registry. Just a lack of knowledge and attention to detail on those.
