Okay, so it's not a big deal. It's just the first up close look I've gotten of one. (I only ever found one bison nickel last year.)
If you haven't noticed, I'm single and miserable and I've got four albums of bitching about it that I would offer as proof.

I found a few of the "Ocean In View" last year, but only one bison. And I was ticked, too, because I consider that a much better design. Last time I went to the bank, they told me they don't sell rolls there. Not sure why, or if the teller in question was just trying to be a pain.

I see your nickel displays the same little marks as mine does on each side of Monticello. Look closely at each far end and touching the building are little indents. I'm not totally sure what caused them. I figure if they were die chips those spots would be raised. I'm in NJ
also, so I guess a number of nickels from that batch of the same reverse die are circulating around here.
