Here is a true monster toned Lincoln cent. What do you think?

I grade it MS65RB. I am gonna send this one to PCGS eventually.

Yes. I think it would be a 66 if it wasnt for the ding. That is the only hit on the whole coin.

To me,that's eye candy. And looks better than a 5 in that picture.

What stunning colors DB! The obverse on that coin looks like an easy 7...then the rev looks every bit of a 5. Man does that obv look SWEET.

Are you putting together a whole toned set for lincolns? I seem to recall that you are.

    Dicky . . .

The grade is irrelevant. Just put it in a PCGS slab and sit back and take the compliments. I have put together a set of these from 1956 and 1957 out of Mint Sets . . . sometimes I'll buy the entire Mint Set to get at one Lincoln . . . .and they blow away anyone when you pull them out at a coin show. 65? 66? RB? Who cares? They just crush everything in the eye appeal department. Value? Who knows . . . they could be $5 and they could easily be $500. Doesn't matter . . .they are just superb.

    Yours is top notch . . . . .

Eventually I'll get with the program and post pix . . .

    Dicky -

That Is a beautifully Toned Lincoln. but that hit on the Reverse is too big and might keep it out of a 5 holder. image
