........ as a method of presenting and displaying your 1950-1970 coins (bascis set, without varieties):
Option #1 - 21 five coin holders (i.e. Capital Plastics 5 coin holder or TPG 5 coin holder, you pick), with each holder containing the cent, nickel, dime, quarter and half for one of the 21 years; or
Option #2 - 5 custom made holders (i.e Capital Plastics or if a TPG would agree, a TPG slab), with each holder containing 21 coins covering 1950-1970 for each of the 5 denominations.
For best display in Capital Holders, I suggest Royal Blue color with gold embossed lettering.
By the way, at a recent Santa Clara show I saw a custom made Capital Plastics holder containing proof sets from 1936 through I think 1958 or 1959. It was quite large (bulky and not easy to carry around) and looked quite impressive. It had most but not all of the proof sets for these years. I could see it hanging on a wall in a collector's private study, provided that the study is in a bank vault.
