    These Gold Proof Eagles tone naturally I have found. Over time, it can become a spectacular orange on these Gold Eagles. I sold one recently (1988) that was a monster color coin and the customer loved it. In the early stages of the toning process, the gold coins take on a splotchy look like you are displaying. I suspect PCGS can easily dip it out if that is what is wanted....or give it another 5 years and see what develops.

    That has potential. If I was selling iot, it might bug the crap out of me, otherwise its fine.
