ANA Summer Seminar: Who's going? What class will you take?

Early U.S. Gold Varieties: A Study of Harry W. Bass, Jr. and his Collection: This class will focus primarily on early U.S. gold coins with a particular emphasis on exploring the rich die varieties and die states found in the Bass core collection. Students will have the opportunity to closely examine coins on exhibit in the Bass Gallery and follow in the research footsteps of the legendary Harry W. Bass, Jr. Instructor: John Dannreuther, noted numismatic author and researcher.

Nice meeting you Andy at the ANR Sale--Does ANA ever offer short courses at major east coast shows, such as Balimore or FUN??

It is my intent to go this coming summer.

If I sign up for Coin Grading and Advanced Coin Grading (the pre-requisite being the former), can this be done during the same week ? I guess I'm a bit confused at the mulititude of courses offered and how they work. Do you just get to pick one course for the week and I cannot move to advanced til the next course or what ?

One course per week - it meets 6 hours a day. There are several mini-courses and sessions each night on different topics. TWhy not try giving the ANA a call to get a better sense.

Not this year, but maybe next year after my retirement...I'll have time to do the things I have always wanted to do, like this. Plus golf, of course.
