How many sellers block bidders with less than 5 feedback?

I've hit quite a few non-paying bidders lately, every single one of them has feedback less than 5, most are 0 or 1. I don't get too many non-payers, but 99% of them have less than 5 feedback.

I'm debating blocking these bidders in the future. Does anyone else do this? Have your auction results changed?

I didn't think you could block people unless they had 0 or -1 feedback. Can you block people with 5 or less?
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

You could, in theory, block anyone you wanted to. But, until lately, I have had no troubles at all with low feedback buyers. I think it's worth not blocking any potential buyers, and give new customers a chance. We all had zero feedback once.

  • My rule of thumb has always been to allow any bidders--even with low feedback. Bid retractors, however, get blocked from all future auctions.
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

  • I block people who have -1 or a NPB strike within the last 2 months, I think. Been awhile since I checked to see what I have it set at.

I don't restrict anyone except those who have won one of my auctions and not paid.

You should add those with negative scores(ie: -1 or more). I also use the blocked bidder list for those who screwed me and it doesn`t pertain only to those who havn`t paid me, but those who took my money and never sent items. I love the features eBay has for us users. I use them to my advantage.

How can you stop a bidder with lowfeedback from sniping your auction?

Can you actually set this with an Ebay setting? I didn't know that - can someone point me to where this is set?

You can restrict certain bidder profiles when you post your auction - I personally don't do that; I just got a paypal payment within 24 hours from someone with 1 feedback. We all gotta start somewhere.

You can only block bidders with -1 feedback score or worse. You can't block 0 or less than 5.

I decided to block bidders who have two unpaid strikes against them.
