White Sox Team Card - '77 Topps - Great piece of history

I was just leafing through some cards and discovered the '77 Topps White Sox team card. What a great piece of history that card is. The players are wearing shorts and those hideous uniforms, but it's a fitting tribute to the Veeck era. I really think this card captures an important part of what collecting cards is all about - preserving baseball history - hideous uniforms and all. I just thought I would share this with a group that might appreciate this.

I don't know how to post pics on here. But does anyone have a scan they can share?

Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

I wish they'd made a Sox team card a few years later with "Disco's Dead" on the scoreboard behind the team.

I also remember these "strange" team cards as a kid. I think there was one in this style in 1977 as well (can't remember which team):

Nope the 75 Cubs team is not the floating head but the 75 White Sox is? Its odd because some of the Blackhawks team cards are floating heads also? It must be a Chicago thing?
