I am happy. Sure, everyone is gonna say he is nothing but a headache but the Cowboys are known for getting problem players and turning them around. With Parcells as coach it should be even better. No matter what people say, TO is one of the best wide-outs in football.

I know, he should help the Cowboys out immensely. Boy, that division is LOADED this year...

As a Cowboy fan, the best I can say is...................No Comment
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.

Yep, I know exactly how you feel. They were just getting to be an anonymous team again (after the arrogant 90's bunch) and now Jerry Jones goes and gets anti-Cowboy fans excited all over again.

probably won't help is cards much. He is basically a semi-star in terms of prices I think.
Running an Ebay store sure takes a lot more time than a person would think!

Just for the hell of it, this year i am taking my Chiefs cap off and i am going to be a die hard Eagles fan this year. I hope to God every defensive lineman gets at least one crack at Terrell. And as a side bet, i'll give it until week 4 before T.O. starts acting up.

No offense Matt, but I cannot comprehend how (1) in general, anyone could ever cheer for Terrell Owens, and (2) in specific, any Cowboy fan could ever embrace him (or any member of the Cowboy organization, for that matter) after that crap he pulled on the midfield star a few years back.

Of course a few months ago, I swore the Tigers would never get another cent of my money after they signed that punk Kenny Rogers. But then in today's paper I see a project lineup with Ivan Rodriguez batting 7th, now I can't wait for opening day, so what do I know. I guess it's all about the name on the front of the uniform, not the name on the back. Maybe it's always been that way and should always be that way. image

    Matt
By the time September rolls around it will have been close to a year since he has actually played full contact Football> That in its self would scare me. If he doesn't get the ball thrown his way well it will be Bledsoe's fault. I can hear it now Bledsoe doesn't throw the ball my way because he is having an affair with Mcnabb!

Tom, This is my take on it. The past is in the past. Emotions run high during games and the players react in their own way. I know when I get emotional dealing with situations, I do or say things that later I regret. I personally dont care anymore what he did at midfield. It did bother me when it happened but that was years ago. Frankly, anyone still holding a grudge against TO for that, is a fool. There are better things to do then to hold grudges against some guy I dont even know. One thing I know, the guy can flat-out play, bottom line. If the organization didnt know that then he wouldnt have been signed. The Cowboys will be much improved and everyone will see it.
  • Who wants to bet that the Cowboys at Philly game this year ends up on Sunday night or Monday night? It will be the most talked about and watched regular season game...
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

Forget blocking him; find out where he lives and go punch him in the nuts. --WalterSobchak 9/12/12

  • the Cowboys can have TO. The guy is a cancer like everyone says. Feel bad for you Cowboy fans. There was one thing, and only 1 thing the Dallas Cowboys were gauranteed when Bill FATcells signed as HC. That he would eventually QUIT on you guys like he did to the Giants, Patriots and Jets. TO will certainly make his quitting decision much quicker now.

Yeah, like he did with the Patriots and Jets. LOL FATcells hasn`t done anything in 16 years in this league. He is pretty much done as a HC. You may think getting a team to the Playoffs is "something", but it really isn`t imho. He`s a great coach but he truly hasn`t done much in 16 years. His last Super Bowl victory was in 1990(1989 season). Got the Pats to a SB and LOST, got the Jets to the AFC Championship game, and LOST. Can you see the trend here? Did he get the Cowboys to a Wild Card game? If so, then thats about as best as he`s gonna do with them, and now it`s time for him to quit.

So you can predict the future? Not winning the superbowl in 16 years has no impact on what he is going to do now. The reason he didnt win the superbowl in '97 was because he got beat by a better team. The Jets didnt make to the superbowl because that team overachieved all year and just couldnt take the last step. The Cowboys were also overachievers in Parcells first year with the team. The Cowboys now, are putting together a team with draft picks and finally landing some real free agents. This team is way different from his previous teams. Way more talent and experienced veterans.

  • T.O. is a jerk. Maybe Roy Williams will horse coller him again in practice when he starts showing his ass.
