What are your thoughts about this strangely toned morgan?

PCGS has granted it market acceptability- Would you want it in your collection? image

NT but kind of in an ugly radiation way. Definately interesting though.

    Mind Boggling
  • I don't think it will be as brightly neon toned in hand. If it is what I imagine it might be then I'd guess NT and I'd like it. It isn't bag toning as far as I know. Album toning? Envelope toning? Maybe envelope toning...

My first thought upon seeing the photographs is the photos are juiced.

In any event, it is not a coin for my collection...Mike

This seller, who also sells under another account: ladsales I think, is known for juicing his photos. While they do look better in the pics than in hand,it's not out of proportion like bondman22 or dmplrainbow...

  • To me, that coin looks like what the late Timothy Leary would experience if he had collected Morgans.

Interesting, but not for me. A little golden toning around the edges looks good to me, but this one's just too much...
If you haven't noticed, I'm single and miserable and I've got four albums of bitching about it that I would offer as proof.

  • I don't think the image is juiced.....I have purchased a half dozen or more coins from the seller and they are typically spot on what the image looked like. Is this image capturinging the toning at the optimal lighting and angle......I am sure it is but I would do no less if I was selling the same coin. I actually like the toning on this coin at the current price....but I wouldn't pay more than the $75 to add it to my personal collection.

P.S. I have purchased coins from Ladsales......not this seller....are you saying they are the same person???
