Barber Dime Curiosity

Take a look at these Barber dimes being sold on ebay. Notice the 1901 dime on the left has the "1" beginning the date sitting on the rim of the coin (just could be the angle of the photo) but looks very strange. Also look at the 1914 dime on the right. The toning is ugly to me. Is this NT or AT?

I believe that's just a spot under the 1 thats making it look like the digit is extending to the rim.

I have never seen that look that is on the date of the 1901. And I really don't like the 14-D that much. Hard to tell about the toning. They are all common, so I would just pass. If you are looking for some raw Barber Dimes I have a few extras. PM me with dates if interested.
