Baltimore so far.....

Well, overall the show has been pretty good to this point. However, it is nearly a ghost town right now, and the show doesn't close for another day and a half. image The public attendance was pretty minimal today. Of course that allowed dealers to be up from their tables so we were able to do a lot of wholesale business today. I think we did a total of $200.00 retail today (Thanks newsman and coinkat! image ). Tomorrow should be interesting. I hear they let in a whole new crop of dealers to fill the empty tables (of which there are quite a few). Don't know what that will bring.

Well, I guess I'll get back to staring at the ceiling now.... image

Also forgot to mention that at the very least, ksteelheader, coinmickey, coinkat and newsman stopped by. I think stork may have as well, but in her usual covert fashion, didn't mention who she was. image If I've forgotten anyone, I apologize.

I'd hit the wall by the time I saw your table. I was up all last night, and have to admit that I wasn't feeling chatty by then. I didn't have the energy to look for anything but Japanese coins, which is too bad because you have some cool stuff. I didn't get my power nap until after the show image.

    Josh:

I hope that the show went well considering the three days... The public attendance on Saturday was not as good as it has been in the past. Also, The show was larger this time and another Hall was used. There were many dealers and I think the last time I recall the bourse being as large as it was for this show was when Baltimore hosted the ANA...

Staggered in about 2 hours ago from Baltimore - returning to NYC and hey, I got a ticket in NJ on my way to the show to boot!!

Anyway, as always it was good to see Josh and as usual he was totally professional and helpful...a stand up guy.

As others have noted, the bourse was not as busy as last year but I put that down to the extra table space. They really didn't need it. I left the show around 3PM and many dealers were already leaving, with the auction companies already having departed. I suppose there is nothing to be done about this. On the bright side I did note a lot of kids there with dad, etc. and they seemed to be enjoying themselves.

    Amazingly...I bought nothing...image

It was a pleasure meeting you guys as well. And that coin was one of the best I've seen of its type. Thanks! image
