sorry to be picky but the corners look nicked on the top left or right. anybody else notice that?

I could not tell from that scan. Was it the left or right corner?

iad22 ... are you mentioning the left corner (rear image)?
The front image corners look sharp, but this card still has the typical irregular '84 USFL cut (better seen in the rear image).

No, I did not notice that.
Am I the only one here who can't pick up minute corner wear from a low resolution scan?

i wasn't clear. the top left of the rear image.
