2003-D Jefferson, What's a fair price? Mintbox of 50

I have a Sealed Mintbox of 2003-D Jefferson's, I have a person that is interested in buying them. Would you keep them? or sell them? What's a fair price? and will i want to kick myself later after i sell them.

Thank's Russ, I appreciate your fairness........... Stick to your "One Eyed Jack's" something you know. Hopefully Keet's or somebody that know's will reply. I have seen them on eBay for around 280.00. But since it's supposed to be a "Sleeper'? I wonder if i should hang on?

I'd be very hesitant to buy anything less than three years old but far more
hesitant to sell. It's unknown whether these were saved or not since the
small demand so far can easily be glutted with mint set coins. As more sets
get assembled and the coins in FED storage are released then the price will
gravitate to a level that will reflect its availability. With ome recent nickel rolls
this will mean dramatically higher prices. The '03 is especially interesting since
it pre-dates the westward journey coins and we know even these later coins
were undersaved initially. It leaves one to speculate that these rolls could
move sharply higher.

I'd wait a couple years and if they haven't moved then dump them. If you
just take them to the bank then check for gems first. If they have gotten over
$4 then hold for a longer term.

Maybe I'll end up being "smart" for buying five rolls of 2003-D nickels. I was at a coin show last summer here in Colorado Springs and a nickel guy from Denver made a big deal about having some 2003-D rolls available. If I wanted them I could email him and work out a purchase. At the time I thought him a bit funny for being that way about 2003-Ds.

Maybe they weren't saved by very many people.
