ANACS is moving.

I wonder how they will move all the coins and keep track of them. This might slow things down a bit.

I have 3 certs for free grading. Think I'll wait a few weeks before I send anything in so that they can get settled.

NGC moved to Sarasota from New Jersey about three years ago. When that happened there were some minor delays with turnaround times, but things went smoothly for the most part. I expect the ANACS move to have the same results.

  • If you think moving is a 'Big Challenge' for them you shouldn't be sending them coins in the first place...

The coin I submitted to them will be coming back to me next week, so I don't have to worry about it.

Quote from an email newsletter I just got from ANACS...

"ANACS, America's oldest grading service, announced today that it is relocating its staff and offices to Austin, Texas. On April 2, 2006 ANACS will be moving from Dublin, Ohio to a modern, high-rise office building in the center of Austin's high-tech district. The state-of-the-art facility more than doubles the size of the grading firm's space and offers significant room for future expansion.

Anyone who is sending coins to ANACS by registered mail or UPS, should ship their coins to the new address starting on March 20.

Anyone who is using Fed Ex or Express Mail should call ANACS at 800-888-1861 to get the street address.

    P.O. Box 200300
    Austin, TX 78720-0300
