should I feel guilty about slashing open mint sets

to feed my dansco ? (it was only 2)
I know I could have procured the coins individually, or just pulled them from circulation..but I got impatient.
I guess that's what makes me a novice collector, as opposed to a dealer, who would have somehow cherry picked the nice coins out of the set, somehow repackaged them, and resold them
with a COA from some other set....

There are almost no home made mint or proof sets on the market. I've seen only a few fake envelopes or packets.
If God didn't want these sets destroyed, He wouldn't have made the sum of the parts worth more than the whole.
