I just started to get back into the card collecting scene for the first time since the early 90s and have noticed a lot of differences. I started with the 2006 Heritage set which I absolutely love. My question is that I pulled a Clemens Black Refractor 1/57 is this worth getting graded and how much more valuable is the #1 card?
Thanks

Second, nice pull!! I've opened four hobby boxes and two retail blaster boxes and have yet to see an auto or black refractor.
Lastly, the Clemens refractor is not a card that would increase much in value by being graded. As a matter of fact, selling it raw
on Ebay right now would probably bring a price as high as you'll ever get as Heritage is very hot right now. If it's a card you want
to keep in your own collection for an extended period of time, then grading might be an option for you just from a looks and preservation aspect. But on a new card like this, a PSA 8 would sell less than raw, a PSA 9 equal to raw, and a PSA 10 at only a slight premium in this instance. Just my opinion.
Also, being the #1 card may have a small premium to some people. Having card number 22/57 (his jersey number) might also bring a small premium to some buyers. I have never understood that mindset because there are 57 of those cards, period. I hate to see ebay auctions that would call card number 1/57 a "real 1 of 1".
Welcome again, enjoy your stay on the boards. There are some GREAT people here.
