Wat are common date low grade morgans selling for these days?

Just looking for a basic price ..... like if you were to walk into a coin shop and pick through a dealers morgan junk tray.

Depends of course on the dealer, but an average I see in my area are common "Scrap" coins, only good for silver content and not much for collectibilty reasons are going for $9.50 to $11.00. Last week a guy tried pawning off some real junk @ $7.50/coin, but I passed. All dirty and some of them I'm not so sure were even Morgan Dollars. Looked like dented bent planchetes to me. Some better stuff in common are ranging in around the $11.50-$12.00 mark. I can buy rolls of common decent grade Morgans @ around $190.00-$220.00, depending on the day and how common they are. Bigger cities probably going for a 2%-8% increase from around here, but I seldom leave my little quiet corner of my world. eBay is a good place to look, just to get an overall idea of what the market is doing, but it is all realative too, so who really knows there? Hope this helps. Other guys will slide in here with the prices they are being "Forced" to pay for the silver, and they are probably right on with the big city prices. If you can get the junker coins @ under $9.50 let me know....he he he(Just kidding there). Have a good one! John
