I sure don't believe anything Rosenhaus says.

So then you do believe that Dallas struck a deal with TO right?

...since Rosenhaus denies the deal...and you don't believe anything Rosenhaus says.

The "agentspeak" in my opinion is that it's only a question of money. That there is an offer by the Cowboys if Owens wants to accept it. Rosenhaus is just playing hard to get and yes Rosenhaus is as most agents are, incorrigible liars. But in any event, I sincerely hope that the Cowboys sign Owens - that will guarantee them that they will not be in the playoffs this upcoming season.
  • I can't see any owner/GM in their right mind giving any kind of big-bucks contract to a guy like TO - it just ain't worth the headache.

If the man wants to come in and win a job, that's fine, but his track record as a selfish ass would prevent me from giving him a plugged nickel up front.

An "unofficial" poll recently reported that over 85% of Philly's WIP Sports Radio listeners want dallas to sign him.

The cowboys are the only team I want him to play for, as I know he will not see team success.

The Cowboys denied a report late Thursday night from KLBK/Ch. 13 in Lubbock that the team had reached an agreement with free-agent receiver Terrell Owens. The report, citing a source with the Cowboys, also said the team would have a news conference Monday to introduce Owens. Cowboys spokesman Rich Dalrymple said, "We've got nothing planned."
    -- Fort Worth Star-Telegram

Executives around the league who are familiar with agent Drew Rosenhaus's early dealings with clubs say the Terrell Owens camp is expressing the view that the temperamental wideout won't accept a modest contract just because of his tarnished reputation. Owens is telling teams, through Rosenhaus, that he'll wait as long as it takes to get the sort of contract he wants even if that means the negotiations could drag on for weeks or even months, the executives say.
    -- Washington Post

The Washington Post article tells me that Terrell continues to live in his own little dream world.

Part of the reason for this given by callers was so the Eagles would stop being so cheap. It would almost
force them to do something or be prepared for fans saying I told you so. A lot of callers were complaining
the Eagles could get hurt by this and it could finally make Eagle management give in a little more to
    player demands. Who knows???

Me, I guess I'm glad he is gone but ask me in six months if he is scoring 60 yard tds against our secondary...
hopefully my answer will be the same...image

  • Next question..............
  • T.O's been on and has played well in playoff games before in his career

Now all of a sudden any team T.O's on is not looked at to make the playoffs ?

Sounds like sour grapes from beagle fans to me
