Wax stain question

I was given a pack of 75 BB years ago by my father that has a Mike Schmidt showing as the back card of the pack. As the card is most certainly wax stained on the front of the card, what type of value do these cards typically bring if the packs are opened compared to a non wax stained NM card?

Wax on the front of the card can easily be removed just by rubbing it off with a thin piece of fabric. I would keep the pack unopened though, its an interesting item.
