Bag-o-Bones, how's your counterfeit collection coming along? Have you added to it? Have you expanded your knowledge about fakes? Do you plan to make an addition to your website related to fakes?

Thanks for the info. It's a shame tht people would do such. This has to be one of the reasons slabs are on the rise for collecting. I would just freak out of my skin to pay big money dor something thinking it's real and it's not. But I must admit I did by a coin recently that I could not find in Krause. And dout it is a coin at all. But my eyes got the best of me. Gotta have what you don't already own.

Good Sir Jester, I have added quite a few examples to my collection of counterfeit coins. I have also had the chance to learn from a numismatist who used to advise the US Secret Servive on coins, that was a great experience to say the least. I do still plan to expand the website, but finding the time has not been easy! It will happen.
