    Bag-o-Bones, how's your counterfeit collection coming along? Have you added to it? Have you expanded your knowledge about fakes? Do you plan to make an addition to your website related to fakes?

  • Thanks for the info. It's a shame tht people would do such. This has to be one of the reasons slabs are on the rise for collecting. I would just freak out of my skin to pay big money dor something thinking it's real and it's not. But I must admit I did by a coin recently that I could not find in Krause. And dout it is a coin at all. But my eyes got the best of me. Gotta have what you don't already own.

    Good Sir Jester, I have added quite a few examples to my collection of counterfeit coins. I have also had the chance to learn from a numismatist who used to advise the US Secret Servive on coins, that was a great experience to say the least. I do still plan to expand the website, but finding the time has not been easy! It will happen.image
